Imperial stout brewed with 8 malts, brown sugar, cinnamon and sugar syrup, Once fermentation had finished we kept dumping crushed speculoos biscuits into the fermenter until it tasted how we wanted (this took a while) – final dosage worked out at 37.5 grams of biscuits per litre in the end! We then added fresh roast coffee beans to the fermenter for a couple of weeks to get the coffee profile how we wanted it.

Also a huge thanks to Andy Lomax for providing the inspiration for this one with his amazing “Avoiding The Fill 2025” imperial stout home brew that we tried at Joule last year which put us on the ideas train to making a Coffee and Speculoos stout
